SAN Information
In 2003, the Federal Trade Commission created the National Do Not Call Registry. This registry is a list
of phone numbers from consumers who have indicated their preference to limit the telemarketing calls they receive.
You may still make calls to any phones that are not a part of the National Do Not Call Registry. However, anyone that
has registered and is a part of the National Do Not Call Registry must not be contacted. Violations
of this regulation can result in large fines. For more information on the legislation, visit
www.ftc.gov/donotcall.
In order to determine whether or not a phone number is included in the Registry, the phone numbers associated with your
mailing records must be checked against the registry.
If you would like to receive a follow up report with phone numbers included,
Please note: The phone numbers that you receive have NOT been scrubbed to remove any phones that have been registered as a part of the National Do Not Call Registry. It is your responsibility to check the phone numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry prior to calling.
A SAN is a unique number assigned to you by the FTC based on the areas that you wish to access. If you do not have
a SAN, you may obtain one by registering with the FTC. Please visit
https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov/
for registration, pricing and compliance information.
Please note: It is against the law to call any number on the registry, whether calling on your own or having a
telemarketer call on your behalf. It is your responsibility to verify that the numbers that
Astonishingmail
provides you have not been added to the Registry.
Astonishingmail
accepts no liability for calls made by you or your representatives to any person or persons on the Do Not Call Registry.
If you request a follow up report and do not provide a valid SAN, we will e-mail your report to you without any
phones.
